Pumpkin patch field trip

So, Jennahs preschool class went on a field trip today, to the pumpkin patch. It was alot of fun. She was in a group with her BFF, Rana. Here they are when they just got off of the bus.
There was also a hayride. Since there was a big rain the other day, they didnt take us out to the orchard, becuse they were afraind to get stuck in the mud. We did a couple laps around the parking lot and pumpkin stand. It was cool. It was the first hayride for Jennah and I both. Good times.
There was also a "Planting Station" where the whole class planted Sweet Peas. It is called "learning" Whatever that is supposed to mean....

It was a good day, but a long one. It was HOT. Just two days ago, you would have thought it was the end of the world- or time to build an ark, it was raining so hard; today, 80's. Whatever! A special thanks to Uncle Alex, who endured the stink-eye from Ayman's kindergarten teacher to pick him up. Without that, this trip wouldn't have been possible for me. Thanks, Uncle!

Umm, Six month regurge, sorry folks. Time flies.

Okay so yeah, i have been a terrible blogger. Real quick before i go in to all these pictures let me update you on me. I took my CRT exam and passed with flying colors and am now Cassandra Smedley-Nasr, CRT. Yay me! I also went to my 20 year class reunion in August and it was a wonderful time, however i forgot my camera so no pics. Like you care, right? So that is it for me. Lets talk about the above pic, this whole post goes backwards chronologically and i havent got the patience to change it so forgive me.
Above Pic is from my adorable niece, Emilias first birthday. She loves her auntie.

Here is the birthday girl with her adoring cousin fan club.
Thend result of jennahs very first haircut. She was so excited. She wanted to look like her friend Rana. It looks so cute. I gotta say i teared up when I took her for this cut. Yes, i save the hair.
During her haircut. She sat still very good for it.
Jennah before her first big girl haircut. I did this on the second day of school when i decided that i no longer had the patience to brush out all that hair.
Ayman, Mommy and Jennah on the first day of school. Jennah is in preschool and Ayman is in kindergarten.
Jennah was so ecited to go to school, and her class starts 55 minutes after Aymans. She thought i was taking her home, and lost it. Then when we got to the preschool she was all smiles again. Drama Queen.
Here is Jennah and Ayman on the ginormous slide at the county fair. they loved that thing.
Ayman took a trip to the train museum in Sacramento with Uncle Jim, Aunt Cindy, Jacob and Adam. He could not have been more excited, let me tell ya.
Ok her is a bit of silliness. This is 4th of July at my mom and Dads. this guy next to me is Jacob, my cousin. We were all amazed at how much we look like each other, and commented that if you put a goatee on me, we would be twins. well, scroll down.
Jake did a darn fine job photoshoping that goatee on me. LOOK WE'RE TWINS!
Jennah and her Daddy at 4th of July BBQ at gramma and grampas.
Woo Hoo! Sparklers! Ayman loved this, and.....
So did Jennah.
So we went to Mickey Grove, and they had these lorakeets. One Crapped on me, then another one bit me. Freaking birds.
this picture is at Pixie woods, in june Jennah looked so pretty in these hydrangeas. She was all "Look Mom the flowers are beautiful!!!!"
Jennah and Ayman in front of the little train at Pixie Woods. This was a big hit. Helpful himt, dont sit in the first car behind the engine. I had a headache from the deisel fumes. bleh!
Cute face, there, Ayman. Pixie Woods. It was a good day.
McDonalds Picnic before going to Pixie Woods. Grampa and Ayman were yackin' it up.

Yikes. I hope i get confirmation soon to take that test. Of course, i am not ready for it yet, but you know- just to get it over with. I am punchy, sorry.

Yay me!

So I finished respiratory school.
Can I just take this time to tell you, to run screaming in the other direction away from Kaplan/Maric College? I don't have the time to elaborate now, (rest assured I will in the future!)
So, lots of things have happened sinceI last posted,I will try to recap it now.
Ummmmm....lemme see. (*deep breath*)
I turned thirty*ahem* on the 15th of November. As an added bonus, on my birthday, my Mom and Dad had a ninja wedding under the guise of having my brother and I over for cake and ice cream. For those of you unaware, after 34 years of marriage, my parents divorced for 4 years ago. So my parents are married again, and I am no longer a bastard. Ayman turned 5 on December 9th, what a big boy he is these days. I have pictures from their Egypt trip, but have not posted them here yet, sorry. On December 13th I officially graduated from Respiratory school. Yay for me. Now, I need to take my entry level exam so I can get a job. Then it is two more tests and awwwwww yeah, RRT. After Xmas, the kids and I said bye to Amr and went down south to my Uncle Butch and Aunt Cathy's house in Rancho Cucamonga, which was just beautiful. Everything. The home, (or villa if you will) and the weather. Got to see Daphne (or Daph-me as Jennah calls her) PB and Ayman were BFF's, and fun was had by all. Now, I have submitted my application (just today) to the Respiratory Care Board here in California and am waiting for the confirmation and eligibility to take above mentioned exams. So, once again, posting will suck, but never fear, when I am done with all of this crap, I will pick up the blogging again. ISA

I am just tired....of everything

I can't believe all the crap that is going on in this country these days.
Rosie O'donell had a good idea. I think I will register as an Independent too.
All these things are creating a perfect distraction for GWB and Co. to run roughshod over the country. Jerks. Yeah, I said it. Whatever.... I don't wanna think anymore, my brain is fried. On that note, I will go and study. I got my test results for my second A&P test- a 94%. I thought I totally bombed, but ended up with the #4 score. Ilamdulillah. This is hard though.
I am out.

Test results not related to Anna Nicole Smith.....

I got a 98% on my first test in Anatomy and Physiology. Third in the class. Woo frickin' hoo!
They also just told us that the top two of the class can do clinicals at UC Davis, which would look very sweet on a resume, I think. It would be a long drive, but it is a huge teaching hospital, I think it would be worth it. I have to keep my grades up though, because my first round of clinicals isn't until January, which gives me a long time to screw up my good start. I am really just looking to finish the course and pass my boards, without having killed anyone in the process (that doesn't look sweet on a resume. But hey, eventually i will kill someone, so i guess i ought to get it out of the way early...hahaha just kidding, kinda.) At least I can sleep tonight. After I study.
Oh yeah, enjoy some totally sweet pictures of my monkeys. Ayman was in a picture mood today, so I went for it. Thank goodness I vacuumed today.

kissy kissy my sissy.

these two are so sweet.

Hippity Hoppity, Y'all.

I thought I would finally post some pictures from Easter. Not bad, I am only a couple of days late....I started school on the 29th of March, quit my job, and now here I am, a stay at home mom again, this time a student. I took my first test yesterday, it was on the first six chapters of Anatomy and Physiology. Studying for it kind of sucked, but the test seemed easy. Which worries me. What if I totally blew it? I mean I am no over-achiever to be sure, but I don't want to fail....Eh, I better not stress. It's bad enough I barely got any sleep thinking of the test last night, and questions that I most surely got wrong kept on popping into my head. I had to take an extra Ambien at 2 am because I was wide awake just plexing. Crap, whatever.
We kept finding these bugs in the house, (in addition to the huge Madagascar hissing cockraoches, that is.) they look like ants with wings, just bigger than ants. Ayman would pick them up and put them in the back of his new ATW Mini Radio Flyer and give them rides around the house. I thought the first one was just a one time thing, then we kept on finding them, by my sliding glass door. It turns out it is termites. Fun. Thank god we only rent. I guess they are going to come and spray. At least I don't have to pay for it. God only knows how many of those things Jennah's eaten. Now if we can just get rid of the roaches. I got up at 2 am, and there was a big ass one and a half incher, just kicking it on the counter top. He had Internet Explorer open on my laptop and was surfing roach porn. It was so belligerent it didn't even try to run away when I turned on the light... I think it was ill. I put a line of death around my microwave about 2 weeks ago and have been finding huge sluggish roaches ever since. The can of roach killer says "Kills instantly" I guess that only works for the small ones, because my mom had to spray so much of that stuff on one roach that it died from drowning, not poison. So, I guess the roach killer just makes them die a very slow death. Usually, I find them in their death throes and do away with them. I am sure I will find that guy in a few days, after all of it's children have hatched and have planned their attack on my family. Yuck.
Oh, and by the way, not that this is a Hollywood gossip blog or anything, but Anna Nicole Smith's baby daddy turned out to be Larry Birkhead. You knew it was going to turn out like that. Now they can start work on the Lifetime movie.....
Any hoo, enjoy the pictures and thank you to: Mom , Dad, Alex, Renee, and Gene for all the cool Easter presents for the kids. They are enjoying them alot. Jennah likes to carry around the socks you got her, Auntie Naynay, and she has her gloworm and the teddy bear she got from Grampa in the crib with her.

Jennah first Easter egg hunt. Observe the dress with matching hair kerchief.

Ayman with his all terrain egg-hauler/bug transport. Thanks Gene.

Jennah was wiped out from the days activities when we got her home so I put her down, she was asleep before I got out of the room, so of course, I had to take a picture of it.
